The cradle electronics section of this manual contains descriptions of the cradle electronics for the DEIMOS Spectrograph. It corresponds to the Cradle Electronics tab in the electronics schematics binder.

The above drawing shows the wiring and equipment location for the air and coolant sensors on the instrument cradle. The air pressure switch is mounted on a tee fitting next to the air pressure gauge at the rear of the instrument ( photo below). The coolant flow switch (Proteus Model 100) is mounted on the panel with the flow gauges and can be visually checked for coolant flow. In the photo below, it is located immediatley to the right, bottom of the flow gauges. The glycol temperature in and out sensors are attached to the brass fittings on the flow gauges. Access to the sensors is from the back of the coolant panel.
